What do you believe?

Here is a list of foundational beliefs that we hold to @ Dimension:

1. The Scriptures are inspired by God and declare His design and plan for mankind.
2. There is only "one" true God reveald in "three" persons...Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (commonly known as the "Trinity," but more accurately described as the "Triune God-Head).
3. We believe in the Deity of Jesus the Christ - Jesus was both Human and Divine, as God's Son.
4. Man willingly chose to sin and thus, "Fell" from a perfect state into inperfection - ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world.
5. Every person can have a restored relationship with God through accepting Christ's offer of forgiveness for sin (salvation).
6. Two ordinances:
(1) Water Baptism by full immersion after turning away (repenting) from one's sins and receiving Christ's gift of salvation.
(2) Holy Communion (the Lord's Supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ's suffering and death for our salvation.
7. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is for today, and is a gift that empowers believers to tell others about Jesus and serve Him with boldness.
8. We believe that the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are still in operation today, including speaking in other tongues as a physical evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
9. We believe that God can heal the sick, both the spiritually and physically. God does the healing, not us.
10. Sanctification is both instantaneous and a process. God declares us holy, and then we embark on a progressive lifelong process of separating ourselves from evil as we continually draw closer to God and become more Christ-like.
